Please note: this document is an operational draft written for how MarketPilot X actually works. It has not been reviewed or approved by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice. Items marked “for legal review” need professional confirmation for your jurisdiction.

1. Where AI is used

MarketPilot X uses AI to help with marketing work, specifically to:

  • Answer marketing questions using the business details you have saved.
  • Draft posts, ads, emails, blog outlines and other marketing content.
  • Summarise a website review and suggest improvements.
  • Turn your goals into a suggested plan, roadmap or list of actions.
  • Explain marketing ideas in beginner-friendly language.

2. AI output can be wrong

  • AI can produce text that sounds confident but is inaccurate or out of date.
  • It does not know facts about your business beyond what you have given it.
  • It cannot verify claims, prices, legal requirements or competitor information.
  • Two runs of the same request can give different answers.

Always review AI output before you use it, and check anything factual, legal, financial or public-facing yourself.

3. What AI in MarketPilot X does NOT do

The AI in this product is advisory. On its own it never:

  • Spends your money or changes your ad budgets.
  • Publishes or schedules campaigns.
  • Sends emails to your customers.
  • Posts to your social media accounts.
  • Changes your website.
  • Contacts your customers.
  • Deletes your data.
  • Makes consequential business decisions for you.

Anything with a real-world effect requires you to review it and act. If a future feature ever performs an action on your behalf, it will be clearly described and will require your explicit approval before it runs.

4. Your responsibility

You decide what to publish, send or spend. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and suitability of anything you take from MarketPilot X and use in your marketing, including compliance with the rules of the platforms you post on.

5. What is sent to AI providers

When you use an AI feature we send the request and the relevant business context you have saved (for example your business type, location, goals and the item you are working on) to an AI model provider so it can generate a response. Conversations are stored in your account so you can come back to them.

  • Do not paste passwords, card numbers or sensitive personal data into AI features.
  • You can delete AI threads and drafts from inside the app.
  • Your business context is only used to serve your own requests.

See the Privacy Policy for the wider picture.

6. Prohibited AI uses

You must not use the AI features to create deceptive advertising, fake reviews, spam, impersonation, harassment or unlawful content. The full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy.

7. No guaranteed outcomes

AI recommendations are suggestions, not predictions. MarketPilot X does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, sales or any other marketing result.

8. Labelling inside the product

Screens that produce AI content carry a short note — “AI-generated — review before use.” It is deliberately subtle so it does not get in your way, but it applies to every AI output in the product.

9. Questions

Email marketpilotai@gmail.com with any question about how AI is used here.
